From hand-set matrices to modern digital presses, Mathru Bhumi has spent three and a half decades turning ink and paper into stories. Our name — the motherland — is a promise: we print for the people, the press, and the nation.
The Mathru Bhumi Printing & Publishing Company Limited began as a small letterpress room with a single Heidelberg and a belief that good printing deserves patience. Over the years, the shop grew into a full publishing house while keeping that original craft at its centre.
Today we operate a 40,000-square-foot facility with twelve offset presses, digital production lines, and a dedicated bindery. Yet every job still passes through human hands: a pre-press technician checks the plates, a pressman watches the first pull, and a finisher inspects every signature before it ships.
We work with authors, institutions, businesses, and publishers across India. Whether the run is five hundred or five lakh, our standard stays the same — clean impressions, square spines, and delivery on the day promised.
Every sheet is checked against the approved proof. No job leaves the floor until colour, registration, and finish meet our standard.
Deadlines are treated as commitments, not estimates. Our 24-hour production floor keeps long runs on schedule.
We use 100% FSC-certified paper and soy-based inks wherever possible, reducing waste through digital proofing.
